Hollywood may have made them stars, but a growing number of celebrities have decided it’s not where they want to raise their families. They’re packing up, leaving Los Angeles behind and trading the Hollywood bubble for a very different way of life.

From Tennessee farms to homes in Texas, Nevada and Australia, stars are trading Tinseltown for more privacy, more space and a different pace of life. Some wanted stronger communities or to be closer to family. For others, faith and the values they want to pass on to their children played a role.
