Please pause today to remember all those past and present who have fought for our country and freedom.
As they travel far from home,
keep them safe in other lands.
They are admired, cherished
and loved, we respectfully say.
Their families, giving and enduring,
so we can live the American way.
We bow our heads,
honor them in prayer,
and ask that You keep them,
Lord, in Your divine care.
For the gift of freedom
is ours today, thanks to
these brave Americans.
