The seas can seem rough. It can be so tempting to stay safely tied to the harbor. A quote attributed to Albert Einstein urges the opposite: “A ship is always safe in a harbor but that is not what it’s built for.”

Are you brave enough spiritually to stay in the waters even when they seem fickle? One day they can appear to be beautiful and calm. You can be sailing along, without a care in the world.

Yet we must remember with God we can always find a way to be safe again in the harbor. God calms the storms and can lead us right through the eye of the storm and into peace once again.
