IMG_1265One of the things that strikes me about looking in gardens is how unique each flower is among the many. There could be an entire garden of daffodils or irises. Yet even among the same type of flower, they are different.

The same thing applies to us in the garden of God. We are each the most beautiful flower in the garden. God doesn’t have favorites. Just as with a garden, the flowers need nourishment, good soil and the love of the gardener.

What can you do to help nurture the soil? This week find a book or a quote or a psalm and pray with it. Feed your soul with the spiritual guidance it offers.
