Selena Gomez has officially tied the knot!

The pop superstar and actress married music producer Benny Blanco on Saturday in a beautiful, intimate, and star-studded ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.

Gomez, who got engaged to Blanco in December 2024, revealed the joyful news on Instagram, posting a series of photos and videos with the simple caption: “9.27.25.”

In the photos, the bride looked radiant in an elegant custom hand-draped satin gown with embroidery, while Blanco looked dashing in a classic black tuxedo and bowtie. Both wore Ralph Lauren. A handful of snapshots showed Gomez clutching her lily of the valley bouquet and wedding rings. One sweet video captured the newlyweds skipping hand-in-hand across a field, glancing back at the camera with smiles as bright as the California sun. Another clip showed Gomez fixing her new husband’s bow-tie before sharing a kiss.

Blanco himself couldn’t hold back his excitement, commenting on Instagram: “my wife in real life.”

The couple exchanged vows at the lush Sea Crest Nursery with around 170 family and friends gathered to celebrate, according to Vogue. The guest list was a who’s who of Hollywood, including Taylor Swift, Paul Rudd, Ashley Park, and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin. Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, and Gomez’s Wizards of Waverly Place castmate David Henrie were also there.

One notable absence was Meryl Streep, who co-starred with Gomez in Only Murders in the Building. A source told the Daily Mail that Streep had planned to attend but “told Selena she now won’t be able to.”

Nicola Peltz and her husband Brooklyn Beckham were also missing. While rumors swirled of a falling out, a source told Page Six that Peltz was in “pre-production for a very rigorous film shoot.”

Guests stayed at the $3,500-a-night El Encanto hotel, a luxury retreat owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen. Martin and Short were photographed there ahead of Friday’s rehearsal dinner, which was held at a mansion in the private community of Hope Ranch.

Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, dated for a year before getting engaged in December 2024. At the time, Gomez posted a photo of her sparkling diamond ring with the caption: “Forever begins now.” Blanco commented playfully, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”

The bride also enjoyed a bachelorette trip in August in Cabo San Lucas, joined by close friends Raquelle Stevens, Ashley Cook, and Courtney Lopez.

Blanco admitted earlier this year that the surprise proposal almost didn’t go as planned. “It was the sickest surprise that she had no idea about, and it couldn’t have come at a better time because I was starting to f–k up,” he told Interview magazine. He laughed about sneaking around: “The thing that makes me so crazy is, you’re getting engaged, and right before, they’re like, ‘Show me how good of a liar you are. Sneak around and try to do this perfect thing without me knowing.’”

He added, “At the end, she was starting to get upset because she was like, ‘Why aren’t you coming home tonight?’ … But I nailed it, I think.”

Their romance blossomed in the recording studio. “That’s how easy it was for me,” Gomez recalled. “I liked him before he liked me.” Blanco admitted he was clueless at first, even trying to set her up with his friends. But everything clicked once they started spending time together.

“When you think you’ve met the right person, you’re like, ‘Oh, my God,’” Blanco said. “The second we started hanging out, I was like, ‘This is my wife.’ I was telling my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’”

And now, he has.
