Demi-Leigh Tebow and her husband, Tim Tebow, are new parents, and their socials are filled with love for their newborn baby girl, Daphne Reign. Proud mama Demi-Leigh commemorated Daphne’s 1 month milestone on her Instagram, sharing a picture of her and her husband lovingly holding their baby girl. “One month of Daphne… 31 days of hearing your little voice and learning what each sound means,” wrote Demi-Leigh. “4 weeks of feeling your heartbeat in my arms, instead of waiting to hear it at the next appointment. A month of celebrating every ounce you gain and every smile you give. I’m praying with you now, not just for you. Holding your little feet instead of feeling your little kicks.” She shared that she “could watch and stare at you all day” and thanked Jesus for the blessing of their little one.

Little Daphne is now two months old, and her mother recently gushed about how her life has changed. “People always tell you, it’s a love you just have never experienced before, and I can totally resonate with that,” she told The Christian Post. She reflected on how even the hard things are precious to her. “Every line, every sleepless night, it’s an honor to have those things. Somehow I feel like I’m going to miss it. Those sweet little midnight feeding sessions and moments. … I know at one point I’ll look back and just miss those, too,” she said.

Demi-Leigh’s motherhood journey has inspired her to write a devotional, “Knowing Who You Are Because of Who God Is: 100 Days to Unbreakable Faith.” “Walking into motherhood, I know the days of reading a whole 300-page book are maybe gone out the door for the time being. But something like this devotional — bite-sized pieces for moms, working moms, women in general — that is digestible and relatable, something they can pick up every single day and just pour truth into their lives … was something I knew I needed,” she said. Motherhood has also opened up her eyes to God’s love. “We learn that God loves us, and we read that in Scripture over and over again,” she said. “But I think holding my own little baby for the first time and experiencing such an incredibly overwhelming love … and realizing that God loves me even so much more than this love that I’m feeling … has been very humbling and so encouraging.”

Finding her identity in Christ was something that she had to learn herself. “Myself having a pageant background … I thought that crown I wore, or that tiara or that sash or that platform gave me worth,” she said. “But I realized the moment I had to give that back, I gave back my worth, my value, my sense of identity. Because I rooted it in something that was always just meant to be temporary.”
