Candace Cameron Bure is preparing for a new role off-screen, and she is already filling it with faith, family and a whole lot of love.
The “Full House” and “Fuller House” star recently hosted a baby shower for her pregnant daughter, Natasha Bure Perry, and one gift quickly became the emotional highlight of the day. Candace gave Natasha a hand-stitched infant top that has been passed down through four generations of women in their family.
Natasha, 28, shared the sweet moment on Instagram, telling followers, “My mom gave me the most special gift, I’m still freaking out over it.”
She explained that the tiny top was handmade by her great-grandmother and first worn by Natasha’s grandmother, Barbara Cameron, when she was a baby.
“My Great Grandma handmade this sweet little top, which she put on my Grandma Barbara as a baby,” Natasha wrote. “My Grandma saved it and put it on my mom when she was little too… now my mom gave me the same top to put Baby P in.”
She added that the keepsake had been “passed down through generations.”

For a family that has often spoken publicly about the importance of faith and legacy, the gift was more than a piece of clothing. It was a reminder of the generations before them, the prayers that likely surrounded each child, and the love that continues to shape the family today.
Candace also shared photos from the garden-themed shower, writing, “Celebrating my beautiful girl and the sweetest new chapter ahead.”
“Natasha’s baby shower was beautiful, joyful, and filled with so much love,” she added. “Seeing her surrounded by family and friends who already love baby P so deeply made my heart overflow.”
The actress, who has become a familiar face to Christian entertainment audiences through her work with Great American Family, also made it clear she is ready for grandma life.
“Counting down the days until we meet this precious little one. CandyGram is READY,” Candace wrote.
Natasha and her husband, actor Bradley Steven Perry, announced their pregnancy in May with a joint Instagram post. In one photo, the couple wore matching blue-and-white striped shirts and held mugs that read “Dada!” and “Mama!” Their caption was short and sweet: “Our dream role.”
The baby will be Candace’s first grandchild, but not the only new addition to the family. Her son Lev and his wife, Elliott Dunham Bure, are also expecting their first child. Candace celebrated that announcement, too, writing, “CandyGram fully ignited!!! We are over the moon!!!!!”
Friends and fellow stars joined in the celebration. Danica McKellar commented, “So beautiful!!” while Lacey Chabert wrote, “Beautiful! Congratulations to your family!”
