Hollywood star Chris Pratt is opening up about fatherhood and the one thing he hopes to pass on to his four children above everything else: his relationship with God.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor, who has often discussed his Christian beliefs, recently told Fox News Digital that his faith remains central to his daily life and shapes how he approaches raising his children.

“Oh, God, you know, I’m for the most part, I’m always gonna be a man of faith. My faith is how I start my day, it’s how I end my day. It’s the most important thing that I’ll be able to pass on to my kids,” Pratt said.

The 47-year-old actor made the comments while promoting the second season of his Prime Video action-thriller series “The Terminal List.”

For Pratt, being a father is both one of life’s greatest blessings and one of its biggest responsibilities.

“It’s an incredible blessing to be a father. It’s also a lot of hard work,” he explained.

The actor said he hopes to build on the lessons he learned from his own father while avoiding some of the mistakes along the way.

“I basically want to get right everything my dad got right and get right everything my dad got wrong. And I’m sure I’ll screw up both, you know?” he admitted.

Pratt shares three young children with his wife, author Katherine Schwarzenegger, whom he married in June 2019. The couple has two daughters, Lyla Maria, 6, and Eloise Christina, 4, and a son, Ford Fitzgerald, who turns 2 in November.

He is also father to 14-year-old Jack, whom he shares with his former wife, actress Anna Faris.

As he raises four children in the spotlight, Pratt has consistently made his Christian faith a public part of his life, speaking openly about prayer, gratitude and trusting God.

His latest comments show that passing those values on to the next generation is among his greatest priorities.

Pratt’s reflections on fatherhood came as he prepared for the return of “The Terminal List,” in which he stars as James Reece, a Navy SEAL caught in a dangerous conspiracy following a deadly military mission.

During the interview, Pratt also praised the military veterans who helped bring the series to life.

“We have 17 veterans on this in front of the camera, behind the camera. Writers, directors, tech advisors, safety coordinators, stuntmen, actors. So it was awesome,” he said.

Despite his success in Hollywood, Pratt made clear that his greatest legacy will not be measured by box office numbers or television ratings.

Instead, he hopes it will be the faith and values he instills in his children, which he considers far more important than anything he accomplishes on screen.
