Donald Trump Jr. is officially married again.

The oldest son of Donald Trump tied the knot with Florida socialite Bettina Anderson on Thursday, May 21, according to a Palm Beach County marriage license obtained by USA TODAY.

The couple is expected to celebrate with a wedding ceremony over Memorial Day weekend, though President Trump revealed he would not be able to attend because of responsibilities in Washington, D.C.

“While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon-to-be wife, Bettina, circumstances about Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

“Congratulations to Don and Bettina!” he added.

Trump Jr., 48, and Anderson, 39, announced their engagement in December during a White House holiday party. The proposal reportedly took place at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland. Anderson also celebrated with a bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach last month.

The marriage marks a new chapter for Trump Jr., who was previously married to former model Vanessa Trump. The former couple shares five children together before ending their marriage in 2018.

The wedding news comes just days after Vanessa Trump publicly revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. In a social media post, she said she is “staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me.”

Anderson has become a well-known figure in Palm Beach social circles and philanthropic work. She is the daughter of late businessman and philanthropist Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson. According to reports, she attended Columbia University and spent several years living in New York City after graduation.

She currently serves as executive director of Paradise.ngo, a nonprofit organization she helped launch with her brothers. She is also involved with the Project Paradise Film Fund, which supports conservation-focused storytelling projects.

While the Trump family continues to remain in the public spotlight, politically and personally, the wedding offered a moment of celebration amid a busy, often challenging season.
