San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and his wife, Jenna, are celebrating a beautiful new chapter in their lives — the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Millie Joleen Purdy.
The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a sweet family photo with the caption, “Life just became a whole lot sweeter.” Baby Millie was born on Tuesday, July 28, and while the Purdys had not publicly announced they were expecting, the outpouring of love and congratulations from fans and friends has been swift.

Brock and Jenna’s story began at Iowa State University, where Brock starred as the football team’s quarterback and Jenna played volleyball. Their relationship blossomed both on and off the field, grounded firmly in their shared Christian faith.
In July 2023, Brock proposed to Jenna, writing, “My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever, babe. I love you, JB!” Jenna’s response was just as heartfelt: “WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy – I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”
The couple’s faith in Jesus has been a cornerstone of their journey together. Brock has never been shy about his relationship with Christ, often crediting his success on the field to the strength he finds in his Savior.
“Right now I’m all about living set apart from the world,” he shared in an interview. “People can think this about me or whatever, the bottom line for me is that my identity is in Jesus.”
That faith has carried him through both triumphs and challenges. “It was a crazy year with how our team did and what we went through and what I went through personally, but I wanted to stay anchored and rooted in His promises,” he told Sports Spectrum earlier this year.
Reflecting on his personal and professional growth, Purdy added, “I’ve given my life to Jesus. My old life — my passions, desires of wanting this or that, especially in the football world as a quarterback and thinking about the future — that’s been crucified with Christ… Now I have this freedom to go and live changed and free through Jesus.”
As new parents, Brock and Jenna plan to raise Millie in that same Christ-centered freedom and love.
