Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are thanking God and their medical team for saving their unborn baby’s life. Kardashian took to her Instagram to share a photo of her holding hands with husband Travis Barker while she was in a hospital bed. “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” she wrote in the caption. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.” She continued by saying, “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant. Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”

Barker has been on tour with Blink-182 over the last few months. The band recently announced the cancellation of a few of their European shows due to Barker’s family emergency. Barker shared his appreciation for the medical staff and thanked his fans for their patience in a post to his X account. “God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well,” he wrote. “Tour resumes Friday.”
Kardashian and Barker tied the knot in Italy in 2022 and have been vocal about wanting to expand their family. Kardashian has three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, from her previous relationship with Scott Disick while Barker has two children, Alabama and Landon, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler. Kourtney announced her pregnancy to Barker while attending his Blink-182 show while holding up a sign that read, “Travis I’m pregnant!,” which referenced the band’s “All The Small Things” music video. They had their gender reveal party in June where they found out they were expecting a baby boy.
