Orlando Bloom recently opened up to Flaunt magazine about some of the hardships in he and his fiancées relationship, saying it can be “really challenging.” He spoke about the different careers that they are both in saying, “We’re in two very different pools. Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands.” He recalled that things have not always been easy between the two, but he recognizes how lucky they are. “I won’t lie. We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity, but I think we’re both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did. There’s definitely never a dull moment,” he said.

Bloom is currently preparing for his role in a new Peacock TV series, where he has had to put himself in a few dangerous scenarios. For the show, he has had to learn how to free dive, parachuting and wingsuiting, which is a type of skydiving where he wears a suit with webbing under the arms to simulate wings. He spoke about how all of these new stunts has Perry “stressed,” which made him realize that he can’t “wing” all of the stunts like he used to do with projects in the past.

The pair has been together since 2016, where they met while fighting over a hamburger at a Golden Globes after party. They took a short break from each other in 2017 before getting back together in February 2018. They got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in August 2020.
