Kate Hudson recently appeared on “The World’s First Podcast” with hosts Erin and Sarah Foster, where she opened up about her marriage with the Black Crowes singer, Chris Robinson. The pair first met in May 2000 when Hudson was only 21 while Robinson was 34 at the time. Just days after the couple met they decided to move in together, and tied the knot just a few months later on New Years Eve. Hudson opened up about what made her decide to get married at such a young age by saying, “I just jump into the deep end of everything I do. People thought it was impulsive, but I was just like, ‘You know what? I’m just going to dive right into this. I’m not gonna second guess it.'” She added saying, “I’m in love with him. I’m not gonna pretend like, ‘Oh, we should wait.’ I’m madly in love, and I want to marry him, and so I just didn’t think twice. I’m kind of still like that, except with a little more wisdom under my belt.”

The pair had a seven year marriage before going their separate ways in October 2007. Although they did not work out, Hudson spoke about how they “worshipped” each other during their relationship. “We were so in love,” the actress said. “He also was so important to teaching me what it felt like to be unconditionally loved. And Chris completely opened that floodgate for me, No matter how complicated the relationship got at one point, the most important moment for me was meeting him and him allowing me to understand what that felt like.”

Hudson went on to date Muse singer, Matt Bellamy, in 2010 before getting engaged in 2011. The pair ultimately called off their engagement in 2014, but remain good friends. In 2016, Hudson began seeing family friend and musician Danny Fujikawa and announced in 2021 that they were engaged.
