Here’s some shots my daughter took at the protest (with her Sony Cyber-shot). I think this is my favorite:

Though, I like this one too (yeah, I know, it’s not technically a protest picture):

The Gadsden Flag, and variants, were pretty popular:

Here’s a nice shot of the Capital building and the crowds. It looks like they didn’t get a good spot, as far as the speakers are concerned, but it was a great spot for pictures:

Pretty cute baby signage:

This one is pretty funny and true! Some animals are more equal than others:

Lying Obama signs were also pretty popular:

As were Marxism signs:

Oh if only politicians would listen to the taxpayers when we say, “Enough!”

But all they want is our money:

Here are a couple shots my husband took on his Blackberry. Pretty good for a cellphone shot:

We could not figure out what this flag represents. According to Wikipedia it’s either Alabama, St Patrick’s cross or Help I’m in distress (I’m betting it’s that one :-):
Here’s one from my 13-year-old’s cell phone:

My husband’s impressions of the protest: polite and friendly crowds, filled with people determined to see a change in government’s involvement in their life. It was a grassroots, Reaganesque type revolution. Conservatives never protest and here there were taking to the streets to protest for a return to fiscal conservatism, smaller government and freedom from the long reach of the government. He agreed with Steve Baldwin (one of the speakers at the protest): Obama and Congress have woken up conservatives and this is the start of a whole new movement.
