What in the world has happened to Alec Baldwin??? He’s actually making sense in this video clip (content warning — it’s Bill Maher after all). He actually stuck up for Wall Street! But then he lost it when he started talking about taxes and Palin. Lefties don’t get it that when you raise taxes you lose income and jobs (as Gibson had to explain to Obama). And when they started to talk about how the right doesn’t get it that we need government, I was laughing at their inconsistency. They were just complained about how the government messed up by passing the bailout and we now have this huge debt to pay for it. Don’t they get it that the only solution to our problems that the government has is to throw money at it? That’s why we are trillions of dollars in debt. Yeah, the government is our savior. Mock Palin all you want but at least she gets where the real problem is, unlike the Hollywood elites sitting on that stage.
BTW, Christine Amanpour demonstrates why the MSM is in the state that it is in today. You’d think that she’d know more about a story that has such world wide consequences.
