I decided to take a break from Blogging Chicks business for a couple days. I’m posting a poll on the Metablog but I don’t think I’ll be adding women to the blogroll for a couple days. I’m getting a little burned out from the blogroll and want to turn my attention to posting. I plan on posting the final installment of my Samson study and to post something on the second day of my DC trip. Plus I have cleaning for my 4th of July celebration. My parents are coming over (they’re bringing my daughters back) and I plan to bbq.

Also, I’ve been reading a book I started on my DC trip and I wanted to finish it. It was a murder mystery series that I started last year. It’s pretty good but I’m a little embarrassed to admit reading it. The main character is a soap opera producer. I don’t even watch soap operas but it’s a pretty decent series. It’s not a great work of literature but it’s great to read on the Metro train in DC, I got halfway through it reading it on our commute. I think I would get a lot of reading done if I had to commute to work each day in DC 🙂 For those who may be interested in this genre, the book is Love You Madly by Linda Palmer. This is the third book in the series.
