With the opening of the movie “The Help” this week – a beloved book now a movie with a huge all-star cast- I began wondering what is next for author Kathryn Stockett.  After all, “The Help”  was rejected over 60 times before it was an unexpected success.

Well, it seems her next book will follow a similar vein . Her next book will be in Mississippi but will go back further in time – the 1920s. It will also feature a group of women adjusting to social upheaval – this time via The Great Depression.

No word on when it will be completed , much less released, but does it sound like something you would put on your Amazon wish list?
