Is your Mouth of Chi blocked, cluttered or just plain messy? The Mouth of Chi* is a term used in Feng Shui*. It references your front door, the primary point of entry into your home (or office or cubicle), whether you favor that door or another. The Mouth of Chic is much like our physical […]
Are you ready, Tushkateers (members of Our Lady of Weight Loss‘s Kick in the Tush Club), to tap tap tap into the secrets of the Universe?
I came across an excerpt from The Man Who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe by Glenn Clark. This book is a classic. It was written in 1946 and continues to be one of the most sough-after “success” books.
Glenn Clark, the author, was searching for a versatile genius, what I might call a “renaissance (wo)man.” A person who understood and utilized universal law and would be an inspiration to others.
His search brought him to Walter Russell, musician, illustrator, portrait painter, architectural designer, sculptor, business practices adviser to employees of International Business Machines, champion figure skater, natural scientist, philosopher and author.
Glenn Clark asked Walter Russell: “Can you give me the secret of your life?”
Walter Russell replied, “I believe sincerely that every man has consummate genius within him. Some appear to have it more than others only because they are aware of it more than others are, and the awareness or unawareness of it is what makes each one of them into masters or holds them down to mediocrity.
“I believe that mediocrity is self-inflicted and genius is self-bestowed. Every successful person I ever have known, and I have know a great many, carries within him the key which unlocks that awareness and lets in the universal power that has made him into a master.”
“What is that key?” queried Glenn Clark.
“That key is desire when it is released into the great eternal Energy of the Universe.”
And now I ask you…
How can we utilize DESIRE?
We can set our intentions with it. We can look at what we want; what we desire and release it into the great eternal Energy of the Universe.
Strong desire keeps you focused on your goals. Strong desire makes the obstacles and roadblocks less of a challenge; strong desire keeps you buoyant. You desire is can give you the extra boost that you need.
If you have an idea (a goal) and one thing I know for sure is that you do; then know that inherent within you is the ability to create it.
You wouldn’t have had the desire to ___(fill in the blank)___, if you weren’t able to manifest it.
You have the genius within you. You have an opportunity now to choose between genius and mediocrity.
“Dare to dream! If you did not have the capability to make your wildest wishes come true, your mind would not have the capacity to conjure such ideas in the first place. There is no limitation on what you can potentially achieve, except for the limitation you choose to impose on your own imagination. What you believe to be possible will always come to pass – to the extent that you deem it possible. It really is as simple as that.” ~ Anton St. Maarten
Your first step is to fill in the blank:
I have the desire to_________________.
After you determine what it is that you desire, you can easily and effortlessly (I am sure), list what steps you need to take to manifest your desire.
Sometimes it’s just that simple.
