Prayer is a spiritual discipline that most Christians are familiar with but most of us are frustrated with at times. Why don’t Christians pray more? We don’t know how. HABIT #4: Repeat daily.
“Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. . . . and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:9,7)
Some wars are fought for conquest. Some wars are fought for peace. America fought World War II not to conquer any territory, but to maintain the peace and freedom of the entire world. You can fight a war to maintain peace.
Your mind, your heart, your soul is a raging battlefield. The enemy wants to steal your joy, kill your contentment, and destroy your peace of mind. If you want to experience peace, you’re going to have to fight for it. And this isn’t a one-time battle. It’s a long-term war, a war of attrition. You have to want to fight for peace more than the enemy wants to steal it from you.
When you get knocked down, get back up. When Satan steals your peace, take back what’s rightfully yours. If you’ve lost a battle, learn from it and win the next one. This fight is for the long haul. Don’t give up. Your peace is worth fighting for.

Jesus, give me the strength and endurance to fight for peace in my life. When the enemy tries to knock me down, please protect me and help me get back up.
Watch out today! The enemy is going to use conversations, events, media and your own sinfulness to try and derail you from the peace that God has for you. As many times as you might get knocked down, get back up. Keep fighting. Make it till tomorrow!
