I love living in Pittsburgh, PA…love our champion sports teams! Tonight, the Pittsburgh Penguins are in the international spotlight, playing in the Winter Classic. Our Heinz Field, home of the Pittsrbugh Steelers, has been turned into a skating rink for the event.

After weeks of below freezing temperatures here, tonight, it’s 50 degrees and very rainy, and although there was concern the weather and would force a cancelation, the game is on!

As I watch and hear the announcers talk about Marc Andre Fleury, I wanted to share a nice connection  I have with him.  I’m happy to serve as Honory Chaiperson of the American Cancer Society Daffodil Campaign in our area, and Marc Andre works with us to help get the word out and encourage people to participate. The Daffodil Days Campaign is a great way to fight back against cancer, by the way. Money raised funds critical cancer research.
