Warren Peay of South Carolina wowed the judges of “American Idol” after he sang a powerful rendition of Christian singer, Zach Williams’ song “To the Table.” The 23-year-old repairman and worship leader stunned Lionel Ritchie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan while singing the powerful worship song. Peay sang powerful lyrics to the song such as “There’s a Savior and He calls,” moving Perry to tears. Following his performance, Perry labeled him as the “Christian Chris Stapelton,” saying “You are authentic.” Luke Bryan told the singer that he had chills during his performance while Lionel Ritchie said he could see Peay being a top 10 contender. “That is about as heading down the top 10 road that I’ve ever heard in my whole life,” Ritchie said. “I’m telling you, he’s strong — and he’s top 10.” Watch the performance to see the powerful audition that gained the attention of over half a million viewers.
