Retired professional wrestler Mr. T believes the U.S. is in the middle of battling two viruses: COVID-19 and hate. The answers for both begin with the love of God, he says.

“We are fighting 2 contagious deadly viruses! One is COVID-19 and the other is hate!,” the Christian actor said. “We got vaccinations for COVID and the Love of God for all the haters! The vaccine works when it’s injected into our arm! The Love of God works when you invite Him into your Heart! #tuesdayvibe.”

Mr. T, an iconic figure known for pitying fools, has used his social media platform to promote Scripture, along with his views on the state of the world.

He has been sharing Bible verses encouraging people to trust God. One of these tweets was of Psalm 91:2.

“I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Psalms 91:2.” Mr. T then said, “When Fear comes in like a flood, you need the Lord to come in and Lift up a (sic) bolster your Faith! Is there Anybody like me that needs more Faith?!”

Mr. T was the son of a minister, but it wasn’t until 1977 that he became a born-again Christian.

Following Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast in 2005, he gave away all of his gold, which was a signature of his look. He believed it was a sin before God to continue wearing it after seeing people lose their lives, property, and land.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Mr. T shared that God was the reason for his success.

“That’s God. When you give, it comes back to you…Why am I here? I’m not lucky. That’s God,” he said.
