Big thanks to my friend Matt Conner, editor at Stereo Subversion and all around super awesome guy. He posted this “worst worship” video today on his Facebook page and I just had to share it with you.

This is a worship event led by Rick Pino,  founder of Fire Rain Ministries; don’t know when or where. According to his website:

His music is known for being militant, joyful, intimate, and prophetic. Rick is also the co-founder of “Fire on the Altar” regional worship events, which are 50-hour gatherings of non-stop worship in the heart of the tabernacle of David. During these gatherings there is only one agenda: to bring the Lord an offering of unbroken love.

I’m sure this song was one of those “seemed like a good idea at the time” events; at least I hope it was, because I’d hate to think that a worship leader actually thought this a good way to lead the kids into worship. The sad thing is … the kids are so into it. Not only is it crap cover of an already crappy 80s tune, it’s a nine minute mockery of actual worship, punctuated with Pino’s last comment, “heh heh, we love the Lordy.”

Heh heh heh.

You can see more nifty videos on Pino’s YouTube page  and learn more about his ministry on his website.
