kittycheese.jpgOk, this just made me smile. Here’s a healthy recipe for Foodie Friday I came across on the Tillmook cheese company’s Facebook profile. Lots of fun, and you could make your bunny look less concerned (“Am I food?”).

Ingredients:
Olives, sliced
Carrot, cut into thin sticks
Celery, cut into thin sticks and triangles
Red Pepper, cut into triangles and short strips
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Lettuce
Peas
Radishes, quartered
4 English Muffins, split in half
4 slices Tillamook® Sliced Medium Cheddar Cheese
4 slices Tillamook® Deli Sliced Vintage White Cheddar Cheese

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º F. Place a rack in the middle of the oven. Line a baking sheet with foil.

Step 2
Place a muffin half face down on prepared baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes. Turn and bake 5 more minutes until lightly browned. Top each muffin half with a slice of cheese. Return to oven and bake just until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.

Step 3
Remove muffins from oven. Create the rabbit by making lettuce ears, pea eyes, radish eyebrows, carrot whiskers, cherry tomato nose and olive mouth. Create the kitty by making red pepper triangle ears, olive eyes, celery whiskers, carrot triangle nose and red pepper strip mouth.
