If you are wondering what to do for Valentine’s Day, the answer is super simple.

Make someone happy. Just one someone happy. And. You will be happy too.

Never more so is it simpler than ever to feel absolutely super happy.

Pick up the phone and call three people you love and tell them how amazing and lovely they are and close out the call with a heartfelt “I love you.”

While you are in line at the grocery store, practice extending love (silently) to the person who is waiting on the customers and see how you feel when you greet them.

Write an email and tell someone how grateful you are that they are in your life and how much they mean to you. Hit send and experience the joy and happiness of extending yourself into the heart of another.

That’s the way to make someone happy. Extend Love and makes someone happy because it is the right thing to do. The side benefit, what you give is returned a thousand fold. By making their day, your day is happy and bright and full and rich.

The fullest form of  love is remembering that in giving we are receiving and in the breath of that kind of love – happy is guaranteed.

As Jonathan Adler coined “Happiness is Chic.”

Engage in giving love to those you meet and watch your heart expand.

Make just one heart the heart you sing to.
One smile that cheers you,
One face that lights when it nears you.
Love is the answer,
Someone to love is the answer.

Make someone happy.
Make just one someone happy
And you will be happy too

Have a most wonderful day!

“Make Someone Happy” was composed by Jule Styne with lyrics by Adolph Green and Betty Comden for the musical “Do Re Mi” in 1960.
