Yes

“Learn to say ‘no’ to the good so you can say ‘yes’ to the best.” – John C. Maxwell

How many times have you said, “No” to someone or something because fear held you back. You may expect to fail or you may even expect the worst from someone so saying, “No” feels safer, more comfortable and easier.

So the new opportunity or relationship never has a chance.

But there’s one small word that can open your life to new opportunities. This one small word gives you almost unlimited courage and turns your disbelief to conviction. This small word can recharge your faith and passion. This one small word that carries a powerful punch is, “Yes.”

Say, “Yes” to seeing what’s good in life.

Say, “Yes” to having faith in yourself and believing that no matter what happens, you will find a way to overcome.

Say, “Yes” to making time to have a lunch date with your spouse or partner.

Say, “Yes” to asking for help when you need it.

Say, “Yes” to taking a vacation day to spend time on your favorite hobby, going to a movie, or doing nothing at all.

Say, “Yes” to honor and love the imperfectly perfect you.

Say, “Yes” to treating yourself to a double-scoop ice cream cone every now and then.

Say, “Yes” to love, even if your heart has just finished healing.

Say, “Yes” to working on the project that you’ve only dreamed about.

Say, “Yes” to forgiveness – for yourself and for others.
