Do you crave sugar all the time? Are you a walking sweet-tooth?
Ask God to help you curb your sugar habit, and have some fruit, instead. Fruit has sugar, of course, but much less than the sugars in baked goods, or table sugar.

You know you want to eat less, but you may not have the will power. With spiritual power, health and abstinence from sugar overeating is yours.
Better yet, instead of sweetness from sugar, let life give you the
sweetness you need, and look to God’s creation to treat you.
Enjoy a
beautiful sunset, or the elegance of newly fallen snow. Engage yourself
in the spirit of living: take time for a really nice, long
conversation, take a child to the movies, or pick some fresh flowers.
Help someone out of a crisis, or just listen. Next time you crave a sweet, call a
sweet friend instead.
If you’re a former sugar lover like I was, it will take time to adjust
to lesser amounts. Give it the time your body needs.
Take it slowly,
cutting down little-by-little, day-by-day. Have fruit, some really high
quality, fresh, ripe, beautiful living fruit instead.
