For this feast of St. Francis of Assisi: here’s that beloved hymn, sung before what may well have been its largest audience ever, a worldwide congregation of tens of millions, for the funeral of Princess Diana in 1997.  (Footnote: yes, I know St. Francis didn’t actually write it.  But – for better or worse – it will always be known as his prayer.  I don’t think he’d object.)
