Raised in the Methodist church, Dennis McIntyre was baptized as a child and later served as a lector. Through his Catholic wife and children, he found a deeper calling in the Catholic faith and was welcomed fully into the Catholic Church in 2004. Dennis serves as a Spiritual Director and is active in ministry as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. He has also ministered to the sick and terminally ill in hospitals and Hospice centers, finding the work both challenging and deeply rewarding. He contributes regularly to Patheos.
