Sometimes life is challenging and you find yourself holding negative emotions. When this happens, the best thing you can do for yourself is transform negative emotions so your thoughts and feelings can support you instead of holding you back. Take a deep breath, re-centre yourself, and transform negative emotions into positive experiences.

The first thing to remember when you find yourself in an unwanted place is to remember that feelings are only temporary and that you are in charge of what you hold and own as yours. Sometimes the scariest part about feelings is you think they will last forever or that you are all alone in this sea of emotions. Nothing can be further from truth. Everyone goes through emotions. Everyone at some point goes through a tough time. The trick is in not staying there too long, moving in and unpacking in this energy.

Ask yourself, “What is this feeling trying to tell me?” Meditation or quieting your thoughts and feelings and taking the time to listen can help you to understand the deeper meaning behind your experiences. Perhaps it is time to look at your boundaries or ask for help from others. They could be telling you it is time to let go and focus on you, your life and priorities. Have you been putting others needs above your own? Or, perhaps you just need to take a break from the world, all the drama, and just be for a time. Let go of the world and look deeper. When you are done, then go back to the world feeling stronger and more clear.

Remember, happiness is something you are. It comes from the way you think and feel. Transform any thoughts that don’t support you. It is always, always a choice.

The angels want to remind you that you believe what you tell yourself. Tell yourself things like “Everything is working out!”, or “Things will get better, and this too shall pass.” When you look back at past difficult times, thing have gotten better. Remind yourself that this time is no different and you will get through it. Make a plan, and do something fun.

Begin to believe and know that you are strong, you can do this and The Best is Yet to Come!

Remember that sometimes the best way to process through and transform negative emotions is to just feel them. Have a good cry as that is all about releasing. Crying releases feel good hormones so just let those tears flow until they are gone. When you are done, take a deep breath and know that all you need is within you and you can transform negative emotions into positive action every time.
