¿Por qué le dio Dios a su pueblo la libertad? Así que ellos podrían adorarlo. No se les dio libertad para perseguir sus propios intereses, para mejorar su situación económica, o para vengar a sus opresores. Dios proveyó libertad para adorar libremente.

Los estadounidenses han disfrutado de este privilegio de la libertad religiosa durante muchos años. Por desgracia, el acceso a la libertad religiosa ha llevado a muchos a pensar la libertad religiosa no es importante. Sin embargo, la libertad religiosa está en el centro de gran parte de la obra de Dios en este mundo, incluyendo Moisés y al pueblo judío en Egipto.

No debemos descuidar o abusar de nuestra libertad para adorar a Dios. Apreciar la libertad de adorar a Dios y darle su lealtad completa hoy.
