Loosen Trapped Tension
Now, close your eyes and bring your hands to the eyes as if you're waking up in the morning, gently massaging into the eyeballs with the lids closed. Look for places beneath the skin surface that are sore, tender places that need attention. Massage into those places. Throughout, our purpose is to loosen spots of trapped tension, allowing the nefesh, the soul in the body, to flow. You may feel very tired as you bring your attention to the eyes. That's fine. Just massage gently.
