- Place all ingredients except garnish in a blender (not a food processor), and blend until smooth, approximately 2-3 minutes.
- Strain liquid and pour into tall, chilled glasses.

A randomized trial found that fecal microbiota transplantation had a higher rate of remission in patients with active ulcerative colitis than those who recieved placebo.
