Why is China persecuting the church?

The government of the People’s Republic of China is officially Communist and atheist.

What does that mean for Chinese Christians? Try to imagine being beaten to death for your faith. Imagine having to use safe-houses and secret passageways. Imagine being released from prison, only to resume defying the authorities – and proclaiming Jesus … unafraid.

Maybe these first-hand video messages from some of your precious Chinsese brothers and sisters will help you understand.

Will you lift them up in prayer? They are suffering today - as you read this – and know they may join the list of martyrs who have died for the faith.

And you’ll find it hard to forget these words: “The more they prosecute us, the faster we grow.”
