30 Day Gospel Soundcheck Christian Music Challenge Day 3: Favorite all time Christian/gospel album

Like I said on Day 1, this was going to be a difficult challenge for me, even though I came up with the questions. (When do we get to the VeggieTales challenge?) In general, I don’t love entire albums; I love songs on albums.

But I do travel around with a handful of favorite CDs in my car – and now that I’ve entered the 20th century (so I’m still a century behind), on my mp3 player. So I’ll pick one album from that pile at random … oh wait, I just thought of one that isn’t in the pile!! My favorite is … Jennifer Knapp’s “Kansas”!! Yup, that’s my pick for today.

What’s your favorite Christian/gospel album?

Check out the entire list of the 30 Day Gospel Soundcheck Christian Music Challenge. Start with Day 1 and share your favorite Christian and gospel music songs!

Love Kansas as well! Such honesty and soul-baring lyrics. Did you know Jennifer Knapp wrote the foreword to an anthology of poetry from Gay Christians and friends around the world called RAW: A Poetic Journey – Finding a Way from Conflict to Revelation It was just published by NuWine Press: The All-Inclusive and LGBT-Affirming Voice of Independent Christian Publishing

The X Factor final performances - care to predict a winner?
Tonight was the final performance episode of this first season of The X Factor in the US, and what a way to end the competition. The three finalists - Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene, and Melanie Amaro - pulled out all of the stops for their final performances. First, each performed a duet with a star,
