First thing when I wake up is to say Good Morining Father, Good Morning Jesus , Good Morning Holy Spirit. And give Him praise. It is through Him that we have life. I set out to love regardless of what comes my way, and live my day to please God because if I do not try to please God then I cannnot please anyone else. Then I go to bed that night with a clear concience knowing I have done no one any wrong. And have a peaceful nights sleep.

I always pray to God,not only everyday but in almost everything i do,
i aknowledge him,and He will crown my work with success. No matter how
small or great is my work,i will find satisfaction if i dedicate them to God.Simple as i am,thus, my life requires not too much,i only ask
for my daily bread, for if i desire too much and have them,i might dis
own my creator and if i lack everything,i will dishonor Him,all i
ask is my daily bread, for truly, many are here today, gone tomorrow,so
why worry for anything?God is in control!I also guard my heart,i listen to what it says…and i respond to those who express their love
for me in return in a way that is appropriate and right,in a way that
i know to express them.

I received such warmth by your writings and inspirations. I thank God for those of you who are brave enough to pen his expressions of love for all of us. I give thanks to Him, my creator and bless His Holy Name on a daily basis, with consistency and I am able to keep a smile on my face and even give thanks to Him for my trials and tribulations, for they can be overcome with joy as long as you acknowledge Him….they don’t even come across as being hard or harsh as others would think a certain event or situation may be….you get through it like tasting honey!

There is a little God-shaped place in the heart of every man and woman and until that is filled with his presence, life can have no future. When it is filled with his love, all things are possible.
Lay not up your treasure here on earth where moth and rust can destroy it, but lay up the treasure of the hours, minutes and seconds of your life in heaven where it will be safe and there are no holes in the purse God holds that treasure in for you.
How do you do that? By showing love to others. Find the words of Jesus Christ in John Chapter 3, Verses 16 & 17 in the Book our Pilgrim Fathers brought to this Country with them. Realise that those words are for all of us, then we can have the will to try to achieve everything else. Thank you for the encouragement. Thank you all for the blogs. I’ve always lived with faith, don’t know how I would’ve survived without it. Faith in that which God instilled in all of us which often goes untapped. Most people go outward for the Lord, or the Universe or whatever the God of their understanding may be when all the time all that richness of spirit is like a vault within just waiting to be opened. The best way to do that if any of you out there don’t know what I’m talking about is to practice kindness. When folks out there have a sour face, give them back a smile, when someone cuts you off in traffic pray they don’t get killed or kill someone in the process and who knows they may be in a hurry to go see a loved one in that’s ill or in a hospital. When you don’t know what else to do BE KIND (especially to yourself)!!!!

Hello Annie, You made a comment that you feel like you need to get closer to the Lord. I would like to help you find a way for you to get closer to Him. The disciples asked Him “how do we know God?”, He told them if you know Me you know Him, and if you know Him you know me. So the way to get closer is to get to know Jesus and by reading and studying God’s word the relationship between you and them will become one and that’s as close as it can be. Keep studying His Word.

I would add several suggestions to this – acknowledge nature – take a walk or look out the window. Write something every day. Have a sensory experience of touching a flower, tree bark or a leaf. Put aside some pampering time each day to do something special for yourself. Smile at everyone you meet. As the bible says, pray without ceasing.

Everything I read above is great. But it misses the point of a true loving relationship with our lord and saviour JESUS CHRIST, GOD THE FATHER and THE HOLY SPIRIT that was given to us when we accepted CHRIST as our saviour being “born again” as GOD’s own children. We are connected to GOD through the holy spirit who lives inside of us and connects us to all of our brothers and sisters in Christ and also connects us to GOD. The one true GOD, made of FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. When Christ ascended to heaven he said he would send us a “comforter” someone to be with us on this earth, a connection so to speak with he and the father. Through our holy spirits we can pray and connect with GOD each and every moment of every day. It is what praying without ceasing is all about. When we allow the “holy spirit” to work in us, and we must allow him to work, because GOD did give us free will, then our connection to OUR LORD is complete and unbroken. Ask the holy spirit to be the leader of your thoughts, your spoken words, your prayers, your whole being and it is miraculous how close you will then be to GOD. Only through this connection that Christ gives us after we submit to him do we have complete freedom to live in this world, but not of this world. Truly, I know this is the only way to peace, tranquility and happiness. When we forget that the Holy Spirit lives inside us, we miss the most important link we have to GOD. Each and everyday, moment, milisecond, etc. call on your holy spirit to guide you in everything and you will be continually as close to your Lord as you can ever be until that time when you are called to Glory. May the Lord GOD be with you all.

11 Ways to Live Fresh is exactly what my spirit was searching for. My husband of 13 yrs and friend for 21 years left me and our two children for a much younger girl last month. We’re hurt and desperately praying for comfort each day struggling to find the Lord’s miracles to help distract us from this selfish pain called heartbreak. I’m thankful for this site and I believe that the Lord directs me here to uplift my spirit so that I may be a better role model for my daughters. Thank you again for having this on the internet :)

To those of you who are going through some kind of heart arce, over your wife or husband, turn it over to the lord he will take care of you, and the promblem. I went through the same situation about 2 yrs ago with my-ex grifriend, she kepted on hurting me all of the time. She could not make upher mind who she wanted to be with, me or someone eslse.Just trun it over to GOD, he will take care of you and your loved ones.Long story short, I finally wised up and lisined to the lord and let him take care of it. Still to this day she is sorry for what she did to me.She is the outsider looking in now, wanting to be part of my life now. If you trust in our wonderful GOD we serve, he will trun everything around for you. I am freinds with her thats all! All I can do is pray she finds some kind of peace in her life.

In 1998 I made a promise to myself, that i would get on my knees each night an pray asking for forgiveness, guidance, courage, knowledge and wisdom to lead me on my new journey. These were my rules to follow.
(1)Never be an example of what is not right
(2)Never loose the confidence of the people.
(3)If you make decisions when you are angry you will make the wrong
(4)Never make announcements when you are angry.
(5)Always go into the office closet and ask GOD for guidance before
you speak at an assembly.
(6)Always give the child the benefit of the doubt.Always remember,
Only what you can prove.
(7)Always keep record of your mistakes each year.If you do not just
ask the teachers, the will remember all of them
These words spoke peace to the teachers, student, parents, and
myself all because the promise to bow to God each night on my knees

In the things I do, I exercise common sense with all of them.
I have a blatant sense of humor, and I find a way every day to
laugh at myself.
I laugh for the sake of laughter and I do not laugh to hurt anyone’s
feelings——-sometimes things tickle me on the inside and I do not
laugh aloud yet I am still tickled.
I have a complicated mind which can work physics problems, yet I have
a simple heart and it does not take much to make me happy.
I will listen to what people have to say whether or not I agree with
Sometimes I finish what I am supposed to do early, and I simply go somewhere and I just think and sit.
I think thinkable thoughts because I have the capacity to think them.
After I think all the time, I end up doing something for the community and something for myself.
Sometimes, I just like to hang out with friends and boogie——-I
don’t care for wild romance, all I care to do is boogie and dance.
And when I’m dancing sometimes I’m laughing at the way I dance and the way my friends dance also because I tease hard.
They used to call me the “dancing fool”.
I depend very heavily on music, being a music lover.
When I am supposed to be serious about things, I am serious about them.
I am not inappropriate just friendly.
Sometimes people think they are really groovy—then everyone ends
up at the same place, the same time drinking the same orange juice.
I’m one of the lucky ones, I can drink the soymilk and still have the
orange juice etc. without getting a stomachache.
God wants us to enjoy life, and have it abundantly.
When our savior was on this earth, he was not a religious being.
When you care about your self and others around you, you cannot be
religious either.
I’ve gone outside my comfort zone many a day to do things to help
people, and I have always been blessed.
Noone is perfect but what goes around comes around.
My gift to myself and others is the gift of laughter.
I am a diligent and hard worker, but I do ot with a sense of humor.
Have a nice day.
