Yesterday marked World AIDS Day for 2009. It is estimated that about 2 million people pass away each year from this disease. It is a day to reflect on and remember all the loved ones lost to this horrible illness, and to strive and comfort the ones currently living with it. Start a prayer chain or discover a story about what it can be like living with HIV. A combination of love, support, education, and prayer can work to lower the rates of infection but also combat the stigma still clinging to those that live with it. May people from all over the world work every day to bring that into reality.
