Aloha everyone,

I loved the song “Monday Monday” by the Mamas and the Papas. The sense that we never really know what is going to happen next really struck a cord with me when I first heard it, and whenever anything unexpected happens I think of it. This weekend was filled with news about the deaths of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.

Here is a memorial site for Farrah Fawcett and one for Michael Jackson if you would like to send their families your condolences.

In one of the many interviews I heard, I think it was Quincy Jones who said something to the effect that, it is easy to get lost in life if you don’t have a profound connection to your soul. When I see someone as talented as Michael Jackson create such a life of extremes, I am saddened.  He seemed like such an unhappy soul, yet his music brought joy to so many people.

I did some searching on the Beliefnet sight and found a bunch of wonderful links I thought I would share with you.

I would love to hear from you about what you do to deepen your connection with your spirit. What helps you most in times of need? I know whenever I am out of sorts or feel unbalanced, ultimately prayer and meditation are the answers for me. What’s yours?

With love and aloha,
Susan

And remember we are always surrounded by angels just waiting for us to ask for their help. There are indeed angels on your shoulder.
