Rex Ray Mini Journals
By Chronicle Books

Review: I like small gifts.  And this tiny set of mini journals caught my eye this holiday season.  They are all the perfect size for people on the go–and all four in this set have different, unique covers.

What surprised me the most about this set of journals was how many different uses it can have.  The lined journals are perfect for recording stories, journalling and making lists.  The blank paged journals were instantly appropriated by my daughter and turned into coloring books for car and train journeys.

I love finding gifts that work for every member of the family and since they are priced under $15, you can gift them broadly.

John Welwood Week: Spotlight on Conscious Relationship
What follow is a transcript of an interview between Vince Horn (of Buddhist Geeks) and John Wellwood.  I thought this interview would provide plenty of fodder for reflection on the role of conscious relationship in our spiritual practice.  And of course, in light of Valentine's Day, isn't it a goo

John Welwood Week: Ordinary Magic Book Review
There are few essay collections which I find eternally useful...so useful that they never seem to leave my bedside table for a more (lonely) and permanent space on my living room bookshelf.  But John Welwood edited one such collection called Ordinary Magic.  And indeed, it is full of magic. The
