saidimages.jpgChristianPost.com noted yesterday that the World Evangelical Alliance, one the world’s largest religious networks, has spoken out against a man held in prison in Afghanistan for converting to Christianity.

While we often hear stories of such persecution, we can easily forget that this is an issue of one man standing for his faith in a country where conversion is a life and death issue. 45 year-old Said Musa has been detained since last May, over eight months, for his involvement in a baptism.

Let’s pray today for Musa. But let’s also put faith into action and help speak out against religious persecution of Christians in Afghanistan. Forward this post to a friend, contact your legislator, share your concern with a minister or community leader Do something.

As the recent Egyptian Revolution shows, change happens when enough people stand together to make it happen. May we stand for Musa and others like him that they may freely worship Jesus.
