asia_bibi.jpgI mentioned last Sunday that open Christianity is illegal or restricted in 51 countries of the world. This morning, I was told about Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Christian was has been given a death sentence for sharing her Christian faith. Thousands are petitioning her release, including the Pope. I encourage you to join in.

Why? The 45-year old Asia Bibi is a mother, woman, and Christian in need. While we may not be able to stop every mistreatment toward those in such circumstances, this is one instance where your voice (or typing) can save a life. Take a minute and stand up for someone who is taking a stand for her faith and suffering for it.

“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” –Hebrews 13:3, NIV

Sign the petition. Save a life.
