I am not perfect.
I want to be able to discover
the needs and wants of others.
I should not have felt
those things in my heart
or said the wrong thing.
I have demonstrated
that I am not transparent
and I don't listen.
I am not perfect.

You created me to have
a personal relationship with You.
I hear You whisper:
Feel generously
Speak kindly
Live openly.
Intimacy means being close to You,
by listening to You.

On : Karen Burch said, "God is always with and within me, and He brings along all the good qualities I need to make mine a beautiful day. God rides shotgun! I can't lose God. God's GPS knows my location at all times, and he travels along with me, faithfully. I can...'t misplace him like my set of keys. God's engine is always running. if I need a rest, he refuels me. I don't have to search for him, like I rummage around in my wallet for my driver's license. He knows my identity. God is easily accessible. I don't have to remember to take him with me. God holds my purse. God is my navigator. With Him, I am never lost."

Sharon Sinclair said, "Hi Miranda, I love this prayer. Being in the process of selling a house I dearly love, I can certainly relate to the sentiments you so sensitively express. I'll look for the "smell of hope that wraps around walls" in my quest for a new home. Great imagery! Sharon"

On : Natalie said, "Ericka...I can relate to this on many levels - my life changed a lot after having kids, as did a renewal of faith. This is beautiful!"
