I know what you’re thinking. No gifts at Christmas? Are you mad, woman? Hear me out.

I think everyone can agree that this year has been a lean one financially for lots of people. Many are still reeling from the recession; employment’s been shaky; and, the future is uncertain. Yet, at the same time, this year we’ve learned the value of family and making the most of having little. So why not end the year by saving money and celebrating the true spirit of Christmas by looking beyond material gifts?
