Norfolk, VA, April 4, 2011—In response to the popularity of its annual Most Inspiring Person of the Year Award, Beliefnet, the Web's leading mulit-faith inspiration and spirituality site and property of BN Media, LLC, has announced its Most Inspiring of the Month program. Each month, Beliefnet will feature ten inspiring individuals linked to a particular theme. The kick-off month is April and the theme is Most Inspiring Environmental Activists to tie into April's Earth Day celebrations.

Other month's themes planned for 2011 include Most Inspiring Women, paying homage to women everywhere who inspire, Most Inspiring Up & Coming Faith Leaders, featuring lesser known faith leaders making a difference in the lives of others, and Most Inspiring Foundation Leaders, honoring those who operate foundations with inspiring missions.

In the past, Beliefnet’s Most Inspiring of Person of the Year Award recipients have included a wide range of individuals, from household names such as Captain “Sully” Sullenberger, the “Hero of the Hudson” and actor Michael J. Fox, to athletes, business leaders, community activists, health advocates, champions for the homeless, children and many other compassionate, proactive and giving individuals.
