Stress is Bad (and Good) For You
This is somewhat of a Catch 22. Conflicting studies say that stress is all bad, while others say some parts are good.
Most of us know that chronic and acute stress can lead to health issues if not handled, but some seem to think that stress is “good” because it’s some kind of motivator. That’s actually false.
Stress can spring from the warm, fuzzy, and positive things occurring in our lives – upcoming nuptials, a birthday party, graduating from school, etc. All of these things cause for celebration but stressful situations can turn up from it. So, stress doesn’t equal motivation. Stress can be a byproduct of our happy moments.
