Shifting from Brokenness to Wholeness
Let’s face it. Brokenness hurts. When you’re broken, shifting to a place of wholeness is not an easy task. When we allow brokenness to take form in our lives, it can take on many forms including depression, anxiety, bitterness and emptiness. We get so caught up in our sadness that we feel we can’t live up to our expectations and that we are always falling short. When we’re broken, sometimes we try to fill our lives with substitutes to avoid or numb the pain when the reality is, we’re only making it worse by not dealing with the pain.
