Watch What You Touch
Be mindful of what you touch in the office. For example, the bathroom pour-style soap dispensers have more germs than you think! Mold and other microbes could be growing in the soap that could cause rashes and urinary tract infections. You can purchase a sample bottle of soap that you can use to help prevent this. Another tip to avoid direct contact is using paper towels when opening the dishwasher, refrigerator or bathroom doorknobs at work during cold and flu season. Make sure to clean and disinfect surfaces like desks, doorknobs, keyboards and telephones to ward off germs. You may not be able to avoid all germs, but at least you can increase your success rate against them.
