Do What You Love
Set aside a small amount of time every day to do something you enjoy. (Now you’re depressed so you don’t remember what fun is, so get your assistant to help you here. Here’s a hint: crying jags, eating binges, and drinking yourself stupid are not fun.) Paint, take some little kids to the park, learn to be a ventriloquist, make a leather vest, go swimming, or get a fake tattoo. Keep it harmless, but venture a bit out of the box. Depression wants to keep you in the box.
