It is your physical, emotional, occupational and social wellness, according to Casey Radle, LPC, a psychotherapist who specializes in self-esteem, anxiety and depression. She defined well-being as feeling comfortable and safe in your own skin, home, career and community, “while being able to handle the times you don’t feel comfortable.” It’s also treating yourself with respect and kindness and living a life that aligns with your personal values, Radle said.
