Bitch and moan. I’m sick and tired of hearing about how lousy everything is. The economy sucks, politicians are crooks, and people are hurting. While all this is true— SHUT UP about it! The bigger picture is this: more people lived better in the past ten years than ever before in history. We’ve seen gains in healthcare, greater prosperity and we’re closer to a peaceful world. It’s reported; since 2000, child mortality dropped more than 17% and two years have been added to the average life span. The average income is 25% higher now than it was in 2000. And civilians and military personnel have experienced 40% less war related casualties.
